Until when do I use the newborn inlay?

It is mandatory to use the newborn inlay until your baby is 60 cm. This corresponds with an age of approx. 3 months.

Is the lie-flat recline mandatory?

You decide which position is most suitable for your baby, whether they're sleeping or awake. Babies usually sleep more comfortably in a flat position, while an awake baby often prefers sitting upright. For babies between 40 and 60 cm, we advice using the lie-flat position, as it supports healthier breathing and overall comfort. Coral Slide Pro gives you the flexibility to find the perfect position in every situation; whether you're driving, strolling, carrying.

Can I use Coral Slide Pro in full lie-flat position in the car?

Yes, Coral Slide Pro offers full flexibility, even in the lie-flat position. Whether installed in the car onto the FamilyFix Slide Pro base or with a vehicle belt only, your baby can stay in the optimal lie-flat position — from stroller to car to hands-free carrying.

How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?

To fasten the harness correctly, make sure your child is securely restrained in the car seat. Pull the harness adjuster strap until the harness fits snugly against your child’s body. A properly tightened harness should allow no more than one finger to fit between the strap and your child.

No additional button is needed to activate the sliding function — up to 27 cm.

Can I install Coral Slide Pro using just the vehicle belt?

Yes, you can use the Coral Slide Pro without the FamilyFix Slide Pro base. While the base offers maximum convenience and safety, installing the car seat with the vehicle’s seat belt gives you the flexibility to switch between cars. Even with belt installation, you can leave the safety shell in the car and simply carry your baby in the soft carrier.

What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?

G-CELL technology is built into the side panels and headrest, absorbing impact forces and redirecting them away from your child. This ensures better protection for your child, especially for their shoulders, head, and neck.
