How do I convert a Bugaboo Donkey 5 from Mono to Duo?

You can quickly convert from Mono to Duo in a few easy steps:

Remove the side luggage basket.
Unclip the three latches on the front, back, and handlebar.
Press the white button in the middle of the chassis and slide the pushchair open to the right.
Snap all the white clips back closed. Put the second seat or carrycot onto the chassis. You're good to go.

Can I use a two-carrycot configuration with the Bugaboo Donkey 5 if I'm expecting twins?

Yes, the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Twin is specially designed to let twins ride together from the very first day, as it includes two carrycots and two seats in the box. The side-by-side two-carrycot configuration or the two-seat configuration lets your children bond together, while still fitting through standard doorways and is easy to steer with one hand.

How much can the Bugaboo Donkey 5's underseat basket carry?

The Bugaboo Donkey 5's underseat basket can hold up to 10 kg. In Mono mode, use the side luggage basket to add another 10 kg and bring everything you need.

How do I fold the Bugaboo Donkey 5?

You can fold the Bugaboo Donkey 5 as a one-piece self-standing fold or as a two-piece compact fold.

To fold it as a self-standing fold with seat or carycot included:

Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
Adjust the seat and/or carrycot to line up with the direction of the handlebar.
Push the security lock with your thumb while pulling the white triggers upward to release the handlebar to the floor.
Lift up the centre tube and bring the wheels together to create a self-standing fold. And you're done.

To fold it as a compact fold:

Remove each seat or carrycot unit by pressing the memory buttons and lifting up.
Unclip the three latches on the front, back, and handlebar.
Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
Press the white button in the middle of the chassis and pull the frame together into single mode.
Hold down the buttons on the handlebar and push down on the frame, then use the middle bar to pick the pushchair up. You're ready to go.

Can the Bugaboo Donkey 5 fit through standard doorways and elevators?

Yes, absolutely. The Bugaboo Donkey 5 in side-by-side mode is only 14 cm wider than a single pushchair, designed to comfortably fit through standard doorways and elevators. The Mono mode makes it even slimmer at 60 cm, as wide as a Bugaboo Fox 5.
