The 2026 Cybex Priam combines full-sized newborn comfort with a more practical folding system. Suitable from birth to approximately four years, or a maximum child weight of 22kg, the new-generation Priam can be configured with its Fold Lux Carry Cot, a compatible infant car seat or the reversible Priam seat unit as your child grows.

The defining update is the new Priam Fold Lux Carry Cot. It provides a spacious, comfortably padded interior with a breathable soft-foam mattress, but folds to approximately half its size when removed from the chassis. For even greater convenience, the compatible carrycot and Priam frame can be folded together, reducing the space required in a car boot or at home.

The Priam also retains the features that make it one of CYBEX’s most capable Platinum pushchairs. All-wheel suspension and large wheels help absorb bumps across town centres, parks and mixed everyday terrain, while the reversible seat allows parent-facing or world-facing travel. An ergonomic lie-flat recline, extendable UPF50+ canopy, adjustable leg rest and one-pull harness provide comfort throughout the toddler stage.

For parents, the 2026 Priam offers a one-hand fold, height-adjustable handlebar, expandable shopping basket and useful two-wheel mode for managing steps or difficult surfaces. At 60cm wide, it provides full-sized comfort while remaining practical for everyday shopping and family travel.

Which Cybex Priam Configuration Should You Choose?

The Priam Comfort Collection is supplied in selected coordinated frame, seat and carrycot combinations, providing a straightforward way to purchase a complete Priam from birth. The Priam Style Collection allows greater customisation, with selected frame finishes, seat packs and Fold Lux Carry Cots available in coordinated or contrasting colours.

A pushchair-and-carrycot package provides the essential newborn system. A Priam travel-system bundle adds a compatible infant carrier and, where specified, an ISOFIX base. Larger accessory or birth-and-beyond bundles can include items for both the baby and toddler stages. Always check the individual product listing because bundle contents vary.

Cybex Priam Comfort or Style Collection?

The principal difference between the Cybex Priam Comfort and Style collections is their configuration and appearance rather than their basic pushchair performance. Both use the new-generation Priam platform and provide the same core functionality, including the folding carrycot system, all-wheel suspension, reversible seat and travel-system compatibility.

The Comfort Collection offers pre-selected coordinated combinations for parents wanting an easy complete purchase. The Style Collection provides more freedom to combine selected chassis finishes, fabrics and colourways, with enhanced design details across compatible components. Parents should confirm that the chassis, seat pack and carrycot all belong to the same compatible generation before ordering.

Can the Cybex Priam Become a Travel System?

Yes. The Cybex Priam travel system can use the Fold Lux Carry Cot for newborn journeys, the reversible seat unit as the child grows and selected compatible infant car seats using the correct adapters. Current Cybex options include compatible Cloud infant carriers, but compatibility should always be checked against the specific car-seat model, adapter and Priam generation.

Avoid stating that all Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Joie and Cozy N Safe infant carriers are compatible. Compatibility is model-specific, and a broad brand-level claim could lead customers to purchase an unsuitable combination.

Cybex Priam or e-Priam?

The Priam and e-Priam share a similar full-sized design, seating system, suspension and premium finish. The principal difference is that the Cybex Priam is manually operated, while the e-Priam adds powered assistance for hills and uneven surfaces together with app-controlled rocking.
