Swedish Plus Tested Safety

The Avionaut Stardust RWF+ has successfully passed the Swedish Plus Test, widely regarded as one of the most demanding voluntary child car-seat tests.

The Plus Test measures the forces placed on a child’s neck during a severe frontal collision. Its demanding limits are one reason Plus Tested seats are designed for rear-facing use. Passing the test provides additional independent evidence of the Stardust RWF+ seat’s protective performance beyond its mandatory R129 approval.

The Swedish Plus Test does not replace correct installation or daily use. The seat must still be compatible with the vehicle, installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and adjusted correctly for the individual child.

180° Rotation Without Forward-Facing Travel

The Avionaut Stardust RWF+ rotates 180° so that the seat can face the vehicle door while the child is being placed in or taken out. Once the child is secured, the seat must be returned to its locked rear-facing travel position.

This is different from a 360° rotating car seat. Stardust RWF+ does not turn into a forward-facing travel position and must remain rear-facing whenever the vehicle is moving. This design combines convenient side access with the safety benefits of rear-facing travel.

The Stardust RWF+ and Stardust 360 are different car seats and their specifications should not be combined.

The Avionaut Stardust RWF+ is a rear-facing-only, Swedish Plus Tested seat for children up to 105 cm and 21 kg. It offers 180° rotation for easier access from the vehicle door.

The Avionaut Stardust 360 is a longer-use, multi-stage model that can accommodate children through later stages and includes forward-facing and high-back booster configurations. It is not the same Swedish Plus Tested RWF+ model.
